Chicago North Campus
Welcome to Harvest Bible Chapel’s Children’s Ministry. In Harvest's Children’s Ministry, safety and security of your children is a top priority. Along with developing teachers and programming for our classrooms, we have also established procedures for checking in your children to the classrooms that will ensure the highest level of safety and security.
If you are a visitor, you will check in at our Children’s Ministry counter. We will have you fill out a short form with family information and will assign your children to a classroom. You will be given a pager code number so that if your child needs you, we can contact you during the service by displaying that code on the monitor located on the upper right side of the Worship Center. You must also present the code when you return to pick up your child.
You can request a permanent check-in tag at our Children’s counter at any time. The tag has a bar code that you can use for self check-in for various Children's Ministry events. Then, when you arrive at Harvest for a weekend service, you can proceed to any of our self check-in kiosks located throughout our Children’s Ministry area and scan your bar code. The monitor will indicate that your child has been checked in and will display the name of the classroom your child is assigned to. If the classroom assignment needs to be changed, just let us know at the Children’s counter. After scanning your tag and checking in, labels will be printed with a name tag and your pager code number. Affix the name tag to your child, and save the pager number.
All students must have a printed tag to enter the classroom. This allows us to maintain accurate records as to which children are in the room. In the case of an emergency, these records will be used to verify attendance of each child in our care.
At the end of the service, our leaders will verify from the code on the name tag that you are authorized to pick up the child.
